Hello, this is Eden Lee, Director of KAYDEN.
Korean culture has been gaining global recognition, with Korean athletes, filmmakers, musicians, writers, and scholars standing on the world stage. As a Korean, I feel immense pride witnessing this remarkable influence.
For the past six years, I have been teaching English in Daechi area. With early exposure to English as young as 3 years old, many students born and raised in Korea now speak English at a native level. However, I have noticed a growing gap in cultural literacy.
There are students unfamiliar with some Korean holidays, and some are unfamiliar with well-known Korean folktales. This made me realize that a deeper connection to Korean identity, history, and culture is gradually fading. This realization led to the founding of KAYDEN.
By teaching Korea’s unique traditions and culture in English to our young ones, I hope to help them develop a stronger sense of identity and pride in their heritage.
At KAYDEN, we offer a diverse curriculum covering literature, history, science, art, physical education, and traditional games, providing a fun and engaging learning experience. Through these classes, children will nurture their creativity, teamwork, and self-confidence while discovering their unique talents.
Our programs include Summer Camp (9 AM to 3 PM) and 80-minute One-day Classes. To ensure a high-quality learning environment, all classes are conducted in small groups with a maximum of four students per session.
I hope KAYDEN becomes a place where children create cherished memories, discover their passions, and, most importantly, grow into individuals who appreciate and uphold their cultural roots.
